Hradec Králové is a regional town (population of 93,000) located 100 km east of Prague at the confluence of the Elbe and Orlice rivers. A dowry town of Czech queens.

Architecture of different styles, including the unique modern architecture of Jan Kotěra and Josef Gočar from the break of the 19th and 20th centuries. The White Tower in the historical center of the city is a nice viewpoint. A municipal monument reservation. The Museum of Eastern Bohemia from 1908–1912 – natural history, historical and archeological collections. A giant aquarium – an underwater tunnel, schools of fish from Central and South America and piranhas. An aquatic center – a slide with light effects, a whirlpool and something unique – sea waves. Steamboats – a sightseeing tour on the Elbe River.

Digital Planetarium – 3D journey through the space thanks to a special device that shows the screen on a domelike vault of the hall.

Children railway – a 430 meters long park railway both for children and for adults.

Town’s Forests – cycle and in-line tracks, educational trail and fairy tale trail, possibility of having picnics in the nature.
